South Dakota residents interested in quitting can enroll in each SD QuitLine program at NO COST one time per year.

Personalized health coaching calls with up to 8 weeks of free medication includes; Chantix or Zyban by prescription, or NRT patches, gum, or lozenges. Statistically, individuals who sign up for coaching and quit medications are twice as likely to quit successfully.


2-4 weeks of free NRT patches, gum, or lozenges mailed directly to you.


Text messaging sessions with a coach to provide support in quitting, eligible to receive up to 8 weeks of free NRT patches, gum or lozenges. (The first coaching session is completed by phone, along with a mid-point phone call.)

PHONE COACHING

Telephone support with personalized one-on-one health coaching and up to 12 weeks of medication free of charge. Options include: Chantix or Zyban medications with prescription from your physician OR nicotine patch, gum, or lozenges.
